High-speed machining of die steel requires that the tool material and the material to be processed must have a small chemical affinity, good thermal stability, impact resistance, wear resistance, thermal fatigue resistance, and excellent mechanical properties. SBH170 grade CBN insert is suitable for high-hardness materials below HRC68, such as die-hardened steel and high-hardness, and is suitable for high-speed cutting in high-speed machining centers.
