Brief Introduction of TNGA Brazed CBN Inserts

• TNGA series brazed PCBN inserts are a triangular insert with optimized design. TNGA1604 series brazed PCBN insert is a machine folding indexable CNC insert with 6 cutting edges for easy tool change and reduced tool setup time. SCBN TOOLS brazed CBN inserts have stable processing performance and high durability, and can replace CNC inserts such as similar alloy coated inserts and carbide. The head of this type of T-type PCBN brazed insert is welded through the whole body, which saves the cost of cubic boron nitride compared with the previous solid insert, and also ensures the versatility with the alloy tool holder, which can ensure accuracy and be more economical and durable.

• The common models of TNGA brazed inserts are TNGA1604, TNGA2204, and the commonly used nose radius are 04, 08, 12. The commonly used chamfers are S02020, S03020, etc.

• TNGA super-welded CBN inserts are mainly used in various hardened steel, quenched and tempered steel, tool steel, die steel, bearing steel (HRC45-70); chilled cast iron, high chromium cast iron, nickel-based, cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy, Cobalt-based high temperature alloy (HRC35-70) and difficult-to-machine gray cast iron; and various other difficult-to-machine black materials.

• TNGA brazed CBN inserts are commonly used to machine the following workpieces: It has been successfully used in brake discs, rolls, bearings, flanges, engine cylinder heads, compressor parts and other workpieces. It can also be used for roughing and semi-finishing of other hardened steels, bearing steels, high chromium steels, cemented carbides, powder metallurgy, hardened gears, ball screws and other high hardness metals with Rockwell hardness between (HRC45-90°). ; Machining finish can reach Ra0.8, large cutting amount, strong impact resistance, good wear resistance and long service life.
